Ring rolling

The maximum plate width is 2,000 mm, while for shorter widths the machine is capable of rolling plate thicknesses of up to 150 mm. The machine can also be set up for heat-rolling, which allows us to heat up the rolling materials to make then more ductile.

This plate roller, together with an extensive inventory of materials, five CNC-controlled cutting tables, certified welders and a heat treatment furnace, enable Grotnes Steel AS to deliver coarse rolled rings and pipes of the highest quality with short lead times.
